Forging in FM, metal?

I’m playing a new stalker game of TLD, and I made it to the FM forge. I’ve searched the immediate area, but I figured there’d be more metal shelves than just one.
Are there any other reliable sources of metal near to the Pence Farm?
I only have 12 metal, and that is what 36 arrow heads? I was hoping to have 50 .
Last time I tried to forge here, I got gang raped by 5-6 wolves. This time I shot two wolves and walked into a bear, I survived the bear mauling. And made it to the farm.
