Why do y'all dislike the combat boots so much?

They're really not all that bad, 1.5 C for warmth, 1.0 C for windproof, 20% waterproof, 10 DEFENSE, those are some insane stats, maybe not for late game, but definitely early game. Also 7% sprint reduction is nothing, especially when you're a double bearskin coat enjoyer.
They're just the superior early to mid game shoe
