Long time player since 2019, haven't played since the last episode release. Just bought the DLC and got all the updates.

Started a new Survival, in Mystery Lake to get geared up easily to head to some new bits of the map. However, none of the typical rifle spawn areas had a rifle, none of the typical carcass' are in their normal places. Lanterns have not been in their normal stops. Things just feel weird, like this is a Mystery Lake I have not been to, or started in, hundreds of times before, yet I have.

Should I be expecting major changes in the typical spawn area for gear and food?
