Did Crowley denounced Thelema at the end of his life?

In the comment section under this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPD3SgCuYKs [very cool btw] someone said that Crowley denounced Thelema and became a chill family guy. I think it's reasonable to believe he slowed down when he got older and in his commentary he forbade studying his works, but people ignored it by thinking that he meant the opposite. Do you think he really abandoned his creation and his warning was serious?
