Hello. I have some thoughts to share. Whatever the second half of this narrative, it wasnt your story to tell. So please, refrain from being upset. And learn to love of what is. This is a story that needed to be played a bit more than once. This was a hard one to digest and get through, but in order to understand someone's life go walk a mile in their shoes, and this industry is able make us to do just that. This medium of storytelling is quite remarkable. We get to experience and explore the worlds we could only imagine. This game literally threw us in abby's shoes, making us move with her, feeling her pain as if it's our own. I had always had a feeling Joel was gonna die, either by old age (would of been a miracle), infected, or other humans. But it was the way he died that had many upset, not me. Shocked when it happened, I moved on with it, and just like Ellie made it my fuel to destroy Abby. At the end of the game with Ellie it was finally clear on what needed to be let go and that was anger. Ellie needed to let go in order to move on with her life. Telling Abby to take lev and go. I hate seeing this game and others being compared to one another, each game has it's own element and essence. No game should get hate, constructive criticism is what is needed. Critically think why you don't like something instead of blindly hating it. Love the video game industry. Just wish there could be a good change in all of this, can only control what you can and don't stress about what you can't.
Edit: changed the first sentence. Didn't sit right with me after reading it.
