I'm sure a lot of people with disagree with this but I quite enjoy the lack of AI. It's forcing player interaction, forces you to traverse the map, and discover some changes to the map. NE plains looks much better. There was an over abundance of AI causing too many fg dinos and the amount of corpses were causing some shitty performance issues.
