The only thing I find unbelievable about this show is that Lily-Rose Depp’s character would ever be attracted to the Weekend’s character. What is there to like? He gives off bad vibes, he’s not cute and he doesn’t seem to be particularly successful. In real life Abel is just as, if not more, famous and rich than the skinny models he dates. He’s also not sporting a rattail in real life… This show is his fantasy about being able to attract famous, sexy, super petite model types without all his fame and status and that’s just not reality.

He admits in his song lyrics that he’s not always a great guy and has had his struggles with mental health and addiction. I think the dialogue about mental illness in the beginning is quite telling. A girl like Bella Hadid or Lilly Rose Depp is not going to fall in love with the Weekend without a combination of mental illness AND his fame / success. Believing anything else is a fantasy
