Updated view on Slavery in the U.S.: *The Half Has Never Been Told*

This is an amazing work to broaden your horizon on slavery. You will no longer be able to defend "good" slave owners (if you ever did). For example, Edward Baptist, refuses the term "plantation" and instead uses slave labor camp. Furthermore, Baptist argues that slavery was not anti-capitalism, but was an important aspect of the growth of capitalism in the U.S.
