With the news of the unjust actions by the Ethiopians against the Ogaden clans, stealing livestock and using traitorous Somalis to do so, Hassan has decided that he can not allow this to stand. He has rallied his men, and will now march upon the settlement of Jijiga, with the goal of regaining the livestock that have been stolen, and if the Almighty favors us, then we shall take the settlement itself.
The primarily cavalry army shall ride and set up camp to the east of the settlement, a fair distance away to ensure we are not spotted by the Ethiopian patrols. Camp will be made early as we shall set to march before the sun rises in the morning, cresting over the mountainous hills just as the sun does. Should no force sally forth to meet us, the cavalry will wait until they enter charging range, before riding into the town, proclaiming to the people there that the rule of the heathen Ethiopians have ended, and that the Dervish shall free them from their chains. The primary goal will be reclaiming the live stock, and should the Ethiopians remain in their fort than after doing so, we shall lay siege to the fort, demanding their immediate surrender.
Should the Ethiopians seek to meet us in combat, the army shall stay in formation, and the infantry will use what guns they do have upon the Ethiopians, drawing closer until a proper cavalry charge can be done, striking upon their northern flank, forcing them to either turn tail and run away, or to flee deeper into the Ogaden, where there is no love lost on the Ethiopians by the clans.
