I love the costumes on this show, but this butterfly print is soooooo out of place. There are plenty of patterns with sewed on fabrics and details that all seem so authentic. Were prints even a thing? I don't think I've seen any prints in any episodes ever. Is this bugging anyone else?
Many of the costumes aren't historically accurate. Especially Bertha Russell's. The necklines for example. I realize this is probably something experimental for a costume designer, but I love it on her. She looks like a friggin Disney princess and the leaf details on her shoulder made me squee. ❤️🥰

This is a great point and I love that they tell details about the characters through fashion and colors they wear.
I love that they design her in a practical, yet fashionable way otherwise. But I still loved this dress on her. She looked so pretty.
