Is there not AR and sniper ammo to be found?

More importantly sniper ammo, since I am on chapter 13 and just found the AR. But I have noticed that since I have found the sniper, despite a couple boxes of ammo (maybe 2) I have literally not found ANY sniper ammo anywhere the entire game. Is this a stupid but or do they just not have ammo for your to find?
