No enough ammo in the guantlet TEW1

I'm currently in chapter 15 and I got tossed onto the guantlet with only a single bullet of ammo and not parts to craft more. I made it to the second part but once the chainsaw guy comes out I end up using all my ammo and I'm stuck in the area with. No ammo and no more parts to craft. Am I going to have to restart the entire game over or is there a way for me to get more ammo. I ran around the whole arena and nothing. I'm playing on normal btw
