My story of how I got into The Dooors
Post Body

This VHS Tape made me who i am today..At 2 years old with my sister Tammy and my dad..Dad asked me what i had wanted to watch i had options of kids VHS tapes but i pointed to this tape i don't know what drew me to choose this tape. Maybe it was the cool looking guy on the cover that interested me or the way the logo looked like blocks i still don't understand why but my dad put it on anyway.... And when he did my love for Music started this tape is called The Doors: Dance On Fire and dad put it in the VHS player and it started off with this voice saying... Is Everybody In?...Is Everybody In???....The Ceremony is About To Begin....WAKE UP! as The Doors logo exploded. That Voice i later learned was the voice of Jim Morrison and i was instantly mezmorized by tje beginning of the video for Break On Through (To The Other Side)...and thene the tape moved on to the infamous Light My Fire preformence and during the transition in the song im sure Tammy remembers me banging my hands to the music..but the song that really got my attention was Wild Child something about the video and the backing music just resinated with me. Since this tape ive become a huge Doors fan but i also branced out too other bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Iron Butterfly, Shocking Blue and more from years past and years later. So this tape and this band itself shaped me to become the music fan i am today. And i am forever greatful for my dad for putting this on and for my sister aswell. I also want to thank my number one influence in all of outside life Janes Douglas Morrison...Singer, Poet, Shaman, Sex Symbol, Icon and most of all my hero thank you for being the spundtrack of my life and thank you for your music and words giving me guidance when i need it the most.
