I'm not sure if I'm wording this correctly, but do you feel that each of the Donnas had a specific persona or role they played in the image of the band (whether calculated or real)? By that I mean the same way that bands like the Beatles had their own distinct personas (John the smart one, George the quiet one, Paul the cute one, Ringo the funny one) or the Ramones (Joey = artist, Johnny = cranky, Dee Dee = druggy, Tommy = smart) or the Spice Girls (Ginger/Geri, Scary/Mel B, Sporty/Mel C, Posh/Victoria, Baby/Emma). I might have always been reading too much into it but for me the Donnas always seemed to be similar to those kinds of groups. Donna A/Brett the cool one, Donna F/Maya the mean one, Donna C/Torry the friendly one, Donna R/Allison the hot one. From interviews I've seen Maya doesn't actually seem mean, she seems cool and quiet but she often makes a mean face in photos which made me think of her as someone who would have an aggressive demeanor with lots of sarcastic comments. I thought this from the beginning and maybe that's why I crushed on her first lol. I don't think I've written this very clearly, but basically for you did each Donna have a distinct personality in the band, whether it was real or not?
