This we are the good guys and everyone else is bad is not believable or entertaining. He had the most knowledge of all factions, leaders and their intentions so having him die, imo was a waste.
Take Black Tusk as an example. Compiled of ex Ranger,SF and other Spec Ops members working for a private military organization. People who join these organizations give decades of their get life defending the United States and they just flip like that? I wish there was more lore into their mission statement and current mission objectives because they are compiled of members of the military who usually sacrifice having a family and life to defend America.
Even if his last words hinted towards us being in the wrong or at least something that made Faye seem partially right and Manny had to give an awkward gray explanation would have been better. With him alive we could have slowly uncovered truth behind what he was saying or who the Strategic Homeland Division really was.
