I’ve seen opinions thrown everywhere on this sub lately, lots of it trashing the update because of things like NPC’s being gods and lots of things being completely messed up. Whilst I’ve seen people saying they are actually having a lot of fun with the game, not minding the difficulty and finding the loot to be pretty well done now. I’m curious on what exactly do you all think? Is TU8 a failure or a success of an update?
My opinion is honestly really really mixed. On one hand I praise Warlords of New York. The dlc was honestly the funnest I’ve had besides playing TD2 for the first time back on launch. I really liked climbing from 30-40 and feeling weak again lol. But on the other hand now that I’m at level 40, SHD level 16 I don’t know what to think. The PVE is a weird mess of being fun and absolutely aggravating. The way gear works is understandable but sometimes leaves me confused on what exactly I should be doing. The manhunt is a total disappointment. From thinking Neptune would be a cool boss fight like Javier or James, instead it’s just another bounty who has a shit ton of health, spams SHD tech like crazy and pops armor kits like Hyenas pop pain killers. Not to mention he hits hard and has the health to eat whatever I throw at him.
That’s just my opinion though. What do you guys think?
