I know we all love to fully utilize our hardware, so I spent a few hours doing some troubleshooting.

​

In Div 1 and Anthem I was experiencing crashes about every half hour to hour of game play. On the div 2 beta, it was closer to every 15-20 minutes.

​

After tweaking all the in game settings and check out crash logs and system logs, I decided to put everything in the game as high as it would go, then pop open my geforce control panel and override the settings in the game where I could.

Div 1 I have played for around 20 hours with no crashes, Anthem 50 hours no crashes, The Div2 beta, I had 2 crashes in 12 hours of play (though admittedly one of those was a cooling issue).

May not help everyone but hope it helps a few.

I have tested this on a desktop 1080 (~2-3 hours), desktop 1080ti (over 100 hours so far), and laptop 1060 (2-3 hours) with success.

Steps:

​

Step 1:

Right click on desktop

Click Nvidia control panel

Click adjust image settings with preview

Click on Use my preference

Click on apply/ok

​

Step 2:

While still in the Nvidia control panel

Click on Manage 3d settings

Under Global Settings, set the options as you like.

For any option that has "Override any application setting" choose it

After all settings are set the way you like click on apply/ok
