Massive should have Double DZ Credits weekend for Season Pass owners
Post Body

Disclaimer: title is original text. All edits were additional season pass suggestions from myself and others

TL;DR - double xp/currency weekend for everyone, but season pass owners get triple or quadruple or for an extended period. Like Battlefield premium owners, The Division season pass owners will receive monthly loot caches containing one random high end weapon with random talents and stats, one random hi end armor piece with random talents and stats, one random weapon skin, one random vanity item, and a random amount of a random currency. As of now season pass owners and gold edition owners are losing value on their product because of the missing monthly events. Likewise, owning one of those means taking a risk on a game and committing to it for a long time and as such should be entitled to certain in game goodies that are either difficult to obtain, time locked, or cannot acquire through traditional means. Ubisoft will most likely issue an apology and do something similar with Assassin's Creed: Unity by reimbursing season pass and gold edition owners

Edit: should be double currency weekend. so Phoenix Credits, regular credits, and dz credits. Double dz xp weekend was another suggestion which I liked

Edit 2: some of you seem to think it will be pay to win. I understand the sentiment of people against this suggestion, but EA/Dice has been doing it for years with Battlefield, offering premium owners 2 weeks early access to content in addition to having premium events such as double xp, battlepacks which can reward weapons and weapon attachments. Season pass details stated monthly events which have not been seen since launch. I'm expecting Massive will reimburse season pass owners in the future for their many fuck ups, just like they did for season pass owners of Assassin's Creed: Unity

Edit 4: some people think Battlefield having premium stuff like battlepacks is irrelevant. I disagree and there really is no counter argument against my claim. Being premium should have special benefits over those who would rather buy the dlc packs individually. This should apply to The Division season pass owners as well. Should we choose to buy the season pass, it means we are taking a risk and committing to the game for a very long time and as such, we should be entitled to in game goodies that are either hard to get, time locked for non season pass owners, or cannot acquire through traditional methods. Now, some people think battlepacks rewarding random weapons isn't relevant, but guess what? I wouldn't be surprised if Massive started selling loot caches with hi end weapons in them. They would probably say that weapons are random and talents and stats are random in order to level the playing field. Some people just don't have the time to farm for weapons and would rather buy them with real money. I wouldn't, but there are others that would. And this is where season pass owners fit in. They would have these loot caches rewarded to them each month that contains a random weapon, random skin, random cosmetic vanity item, etc

Edit 5: maybe non season pass owners can have double xp/currency weekends, but season pass owners could have it for a longer period or be rewarded more. Maybe double for non season pass owners and triple or quadruple for season pass owners. Yes, Phoenix credits are easy to get. So just spend them and get more. Massive should add more vendors as well
