What is the difference between +Pulse crit hit damage and +Pulse crit hit damage bonus?

They are two separate stats, and sometimes either of them can be rolled for an item (based on recalibration), so what gives? The Pulse critical hit damage bonus tends to be a smaller number, so it must be more valuable per percentage point, but what is different about the two?
It seems to me that they would affect the same thing, but I would guess they do so differently?
Anyone have some insight on this?
