Newer player what do I do now?

Newer player and I think I finished the base game and now Iām not sure what to do or expect. Firstly I killed Ridgeway, is that the end of the base story? Is there more for me to do story wise in DC? If that was the end what should I do now? I got the dlc so should I just go to New York and do stuff there? Will I be doing story missions there until Iām level 40? Or will I be doing end game content? Hopefully I asked the correct questions any tips are greatly appreciated.
