Question about Dark Winter drops

Hey so just to preface I've read previous Reddit posts and YouTube comments but thought I'd ask for 2024.

Has anyone experienced the Dark Winter dropping in the Light Zone areas? I've seen several comments saying yes it's been dropped in Countdown, by random enemies in LZ, etc but have also seen multiple saying NO it's DZ exclusively and Named Caches too.

Just currently really enjoying farming Countdown but would love to get my hands on Dark Winter for a Hunters/Momento build so want to see if I'm wasting my time and should just go fun DZ exclusively. Cheers! 🍻
