Maybe my title is a bit crude...so let's clean it up. Would it be possible that the Supreme Court gives a ruling and the rest of the government can just ignore them?
Let's say a president does an executive order. Or congress passes a law and the SC says it's "un constitutional" could the other bodies of government just say "yeah, that's cute" and just keep on doing on what they are doing?
I know Andrew Jackson ignored the SC when he conducted a genocide. But I'd like to see more politicians ignore this current supreme Court over things that actually help people....like paying of debt or going after the rich and well to do.
And my honest hot take: I don't even think the SC should be a thing. At the very least they should have their power reduced.
