Ok, while Glen Cook's personal tastes are up for debate, there is no debate that Croaker's defintion for aging seems skewed in a bad way.

At no point is there any statement that Lady had undergone any accelerated aging post "Captured" but she goes from a fine looking 26 year old, but Croaker talks like she's on the wrong side of 50. By her statement of 1 year per 100 in PoS, we can assume she's physically 20 when named. She's not in stasis for 11 of the years. Even counting for a rugged lifestyle, she was still "hot" before the Plain, and only aged 4 more years.

Was there any mention of accelerated aging or Lady not being in stasis?

OTOH, he handles Ky Sahra's aging appropriately. Being roughly 40 and living a hard life; she presents as the proper amount of aging without the judgement doled out towards Lady. Lady has taken care of herself and is physically 10 years younger.

That said, it fits if she somehow continued to age under the plain.
