Does anybody else wish they ditched their stage attire earlier than they did ?

I can’t be the only one who wishes they ditched the whole stage uniform thing way earlier than they did. Almost makes sense that they were losing their audience when they dressed like a Vegas lounge act. If they just wore they’re regular clothes or just hipper clothes starting in 1966 they probably wouldn’t have seemed so lame by some folks. Love the guys, but it seemed like a misstep. Imagine how lame they would’ve looked at Monterey if they wore those white suites.
