Holy shit. I’ve seen The Beach Boys quite a few times. That drummer has forced them into faster tempos, higher energy, and more enthusiasm. Wasn’t going to this show until I heard there were a few new guys to check out. No shade to the old ones but THAT dude is someone I will now go to another concert to see. God DAMN what a performer.
A lady friend of mine who is not a hardcore Beach Boys went with her mom last night, and called out the drummer as being particular good. I think that’s a good sign on this guy
