In 1982, Mike Love and longtime friend Dean Torrence of Jan and Dean released a promotional single for Budweiser on their "King of Beers" label. Be True To Your Bud, also known as the Budweiser Fight Song, is a parody of The Beach Boys' Be True to Your School, and gives writing credit to Brian Wilson.
