Apparently Richard Wright from Pink Floyd really admired The Band

So, this headline is about him putting down The Beatles. But then he also mentions Big Pink as one of his favorite albums. I didn't expect that, but it's awesome to hear. As one of Rock's greatest keyboardists himself, I could imagine Wright really appreciating Garth Hudson's playing.

It's a hugely influential albums for all kind of artists. Clapton basically stopped everything after that came out. Huge influence.
