I'm not sure if anyone has posted this, so I'm sorry for a potential redundancy. But does anybody else see how much the twins leaving really hurt the final episodes of the season?
By them leaving prior to giving out roses, this lead to THREE dudes being eliminated. Only to have FOUR more girls join the show. At this point almost everybody was coupled up, leaving the girls absolutely no options. On top of that, this was after Vinny had quit and Chad was forced to leave. The male talent pool had been incredibly drained at this point.
On top of that, the whole if one twin stays, they both stay rule also really affected the numbers throughout the season. At some point that rule should have been removed.
If the twins wanted to leave, cool, that's fine, plenty of others have left this season. But it was foolish for the producers to not create some loophole to let those guys stay so Jami, Shushanna, Lauren, and Chicken girl actually had options beyond Wells who was already matched with Ashley and had enough on his plate purely with Jami coming along. Ashley was able to come back just because, the three guys should have had just as much of a shot.
This did not create good TV or drama, it just created a big waste of time for the final cast members to come the last 3 days of the show.
Thoughts?
