On occasion I am experiencing some strange behaviour when I plug a set of headphones into my tablet. Twice recently I have lost all sound and had to power off / on to restore it again.

Tonight I plugged in a set of earbuds while the screen was off and the whole tablet powered off and wouldn't come back on until I plugged in my charger. It then showed the low battery icon and then after a little coaxing it booted up normally (the battery was actually at around 70%).

Anyone else experiencing issues like this? I am worried that I could end up damaging my tablet if there is an underlying fault here so I might get myself a pair of Bluetooth headphones instead, but I would be interested to hear if anyone else has had similar problems.
