Rory and Mal only came to work but wanted more

I see ppl saying they built it together but as we see the dynamic is just Joe and ppl to conflict or rebut his takes
If Rory and Mal established their worthy and fan bases (not the lil hives they have) by capturing some of the pod audience and bringing them to their own revenue streams THEN they can argue a bigger percentage.
But as for now they just get paid to pod. They don’t do any of the maintenance and managing of the behind the scenes or pay anybody so why should they reap the reward from that ?
