Before I bought some of the DLCs and had access to the .308 rifles I loved the 7mm magnum, but after getting the .308 and discovering it was seemingly marginally better in both penetration and expansion I have struggled to justify picking the 7mm up again. I was wondering if there was any reason to use the 7mm over the .308 (aside from the 7mm being able to take class 9, which confuses me as itβs a less powerful round?). It feels like a lot of guns/calibres get forgotten because another does things ever so marginally better which sadly makes it seem like some guns are objectively worse picks for very little apparent reason.
