Would it help anyone here to know when you're going to die, how your going to die, both or would it not be helpful at all? For me:
When: As long as it's not going to happen in the near future, I feel like knowing when it's going to happen would relieve some of the constant anxiety, because I'd know "OK, I'm not going to die until I'm 82, and I'm 34 now, so I can still enjoy 48 more years" or whatever the case may be. And I've heard the fear may dissipate by the time I get to that age anyway. Or it might not
How: At least if the cause isn't related to something I do fairly often. Say for example I find out my cause of death is going to be from a plane crash, then as long as I don't have any flights planned, I can relax. On the other hand, if I find out it's going to be from a car crash, or choking on food or a random act of violence, that wouldn't help, because cars and food are pretty necessary for daily life, and random acts of violence are...random
Both: Somehow I think this would be a rollercoaster. On the one hand, I don't think the "how" would bother me as much as the "when". I'd like to know what's going to cause it so I know when to relax and when to panic. Then again, if I know it's going to be from a plane crash, but I'm likely to take multiple flights and don't know which one is going to be the one, that would increase my anxiety
I think even if I knew how or when or both, I'd still have the fear, because ultimately humans fear what they don't know, but there's a chance that knowledge of when or how could help it at least
