My partner (m35) has had existential anxiety about the impermanence of life for years, creeping on him daily. It even spans to his bad relationship with sleep. The situation is however a bit more complex, and he started considering to visit a therapist. It is a very sensitive topic so i dont bring it up, and he is opening up very slowly.
Everybody here comes from different backgrounds and school of thought, and so everybody’s experience and attitude towards this topic varies.
I would like to ask about your experience or needs when it comes to getting a support from your closest ones? What has worked well? What has helped you to become more peaceful? What role your partner played in it? Maybe even- have you opened up about your fear?
Would you help me to get better understanding of your situation?
