You Only Live Twice; or, End of the Line Release Date "Confirmed"

Post Body

Alright guys.

Everyone's hyped about End of the Line.

The update to end all updates.

Until now, McVee's fed us bits and pieces of information, and refrained from releasing anything permanent.

Except...

April 22. Earth Day. The end of Passover. National Jelly Bean Day. And the date that End of the Line's release date was confirmed.

McVee sent out an announcement on the Steam group, talking about "deadlines and expectations".

The full text can be found here.

What's interesting are the approximately two grammar mistakes he made.

See?

2 should be "two", and "bare" should be "bear". So, a la Aunt Josephine, we're left with the letters "twobear".

But what happens when we put that through an anagram machine?

"ETA Brow".

You know what has ETAs? Trains, and more importantly, updates.

In expert-codebreaker fashion, if we ROT23 what's left, we get nothing other than "YOLT".

And what could that mean?

Why, nothing other than You Only Live Twice, a Sean Connery JAMES Bond flick.

And what's this?

Released June 13th? That sounds plausible for End of the Line.

But wait, there's more?!

1: Irrelevant, but interesting

Delivering rocket fuel? Spaceships? Secret rocket bases? SHUTTLE LAUNCHES?

Why, it sounds exactly like the fabled moon-base update.

Basically End of the Line is 100% confirmed for June 13th and it's literally a TF2 remake of You Only Live Twice.
