Okay, first i'd like to ask each and every one of you to remain calm about this and not scream how we're destroying this community. We're simply thinking about disalowing these posts:

Screenshots of time spent playing TF2

"Look who I found" -> some dude with a self-made/community item.

The reason why we'd like to remove them is because they're mostly, if not always, extremely repetative, easily replicated and reposted, not really interesting and don't lead to a lot of disscussion, if any at all.

The quality of this subreddit greatly improved after we removed the most commonly reposted posts, and since then, the frontpage has been a joy to sift through. But we'd lose nothing and gain more by simply disallowing these posts.

But we wanted to converse with you guys first, but at the same time to remind some of you why these posts should be removed: they simply add to nothing.

So yeah, please stay nice guys and don't freak out :P

EDIT: As well, please post your ideas about what you feel is repetative and doesn't contribute at all.
