Love being able to openly express platonic feelings of love to my male friends without fear of ridicule

I posted that I was having a rough time and this specific friend called me to check on me. I sent him this text, and afterwards I felt grateful that it's becoming more commonplace for men to honestly express thier emotions twords each other. I feel like with the world the way it is and so much negativity existing all over the place, it's more important then ever to tell each other I love you.
