I do think that I’m just mentally exhausted and stunted by ptsd. I don’t have the luxury to do nothing until my brain’s decided it’s gotten enough rest and it’s safe now. She said something about how animals sometimes when in a traumatic or life threatening situation will respond with doing nothing or flight or fight response and be stuck in that response after the threat is gone even after a new solution has shown itself she never said how to get unstuck though.
