Questions about rendering aid in a NON VEHICLE incident
Post Body

I'm trying to figure out if there are any laws that require someone to stop and assist an injured person in the event of an assault or similar emergency circumstance not involving a vehicle. For context, in my locality there was a stabbing, after which I began rendering first aid. I know I am covered by the good Samaritan act, and I am also first aid licensed so no concerns there. However now I'm being told by my boss that I shouldn't get involved in situations like that due to liabilities. Excluding potential restrictions from my workplace, are there any laws that would be violated if I DID NOT render aid to the individual who had been stabbed?
