I check my balls weekly to check for it.
Yesterday I found a small bump on my right testicle. I won’t even call it a bump, it’s more like a spot, like when you have acne or a random spot on your face.
It’s not big enough for me to hold with my thumb and index finger. In fact, it’s not noticeable at all unless I’m really searching for it, and especially not when it’s cold and my balls shrivel up.
I have to roll my finger across the testicle itself for me to notice it. I actually have to intentionally search for it.
There are no other symptoms. I am in no pain whatsoever. I am perfectly alive and well. No aches. No pressure or discomfort in anyway shape or form. Nothing that would indicate an issue (I googled TC symptoms and have experienced none).
I have referred myself to my GP (doctor) who has booked an ultrasound for me in a week’s time.
GP has made it crystal clear to me that it is very good that I reported this early (as this bump is no older than a week), but it’s extremely unlikely that I have TC. Says it’s most likely to be a harmless cyst but better to be safe than sorry, so I’m taking no chances.
With early detection it can be treated and cured, doctor says.
Since I reported it, it’s made me come to terms with my own mortality, my mind is raving and my imagination is running away with itself.
I need to calm down.
Still, despite the low chance I have it, should I be worried?
