Soo it’s been 9 months since my orchiectomy in Sept. 2020. I was stage 1A and am now being told by other doctors I was stage 1B (based on their interpretation of pathology report.) All of my CT scans and blood work have been clear since September- but my doctors now are saying, based on pathology, there is potential for vascular invasion. They are recommending RPLND surgery, although nothing is currently happening. It would be a preventative surgery in case I did relapse. But I don’t want to have that surgery and would rather press my luck- considering I’ve gone 9 months and everything has been clear. What is the likelihood of reoccurrence based on timelines. 6 months post op? 1 yr post? 2? Anyone know?
