Edit: messed up the title. Should say Ja'darri.
After having played through Southern Elsweyr, I noticed there are some clear parallels between the two. Apart from both being cat like (yes I know the Po Tun could technically be entirely unconnected to khajiit), Ja'darri wants to meld with a dragon and is called Toshrakhat for it. Similarly Tosh Raka becomes a dragon. While Ja'darri fails, the vestige proves that it's possible and that perhaps Tosh Raka didn't literally become a dragon but joined one.
It's also suspect that there are so many dragon motifs everywhere especially the dragon like sphinxes. Many cultures have dragon motifs, but out of all races to choose such a close parallel of a story, the devs chose the khajiit.
I haven't seen much about this anywhere and not many places even mention the name Toshrakhat. What are your theories on this, and is there any more information?
