Playing D&D in the Elder Scrolls universe, need some advice.
Post Body

So, I am currently running a game of D&D 5e in Skyrim, 20 years after the events of the game. The Dragonborn became a vampire lord, spent 10 years exterminating the other vampires of Skyrim, and then disappeared for 5 more after she completed the Dragonborn DLC. Also, the players have never played and Elder Scrolls game

My big issues are: 1. I can't really give the players most of the cool artifacts, because "Why didn't the Dragonborn keep it?" Specifically the staff of Magnus. I want to put them through labyrinthian, but don't have a good reason to. 2. How do I avoid making the Dragonborn unkillable? One thought I had was having the players be aspects of Lorkhan, prophesized to reign in the crazy vampire queen of skyrim
