We have seen the BLoodskal barrow twice already but it has two separate blade. Interesting isn't it. Why where the Bloodskal there on Solstheim anyway?
I would argue the Bloodskal where Necromancers, and/or cannadilist. I think since their Clan Priest/Leader (See my Dragon Priest Theory if confused) name means "Finite-Kill-Blood" or "Blood Sword", that they were blood drinkers or something to that effect. They would have used the Dragonborn version for cleaving, heads or limbs while the small Bloodmoon version was probably used for other cruel and gory forms of torture and execution. Ritual blades if you will. They are starting sound like Namia's Coven mixed with Forsworn Hags, The Dark Brotherhood, and Vampires. They may have well been vampires. Since we don't have ANY history of Atmora, its hard to tell. Now the blades themselves could be Atmorian in origin. But I think they are from somewhere else,. Comparing them to their Ancient Nord counterparts, since that's the closest to Atmorian craftsmanship (after to Wuuthrad) as we could get. I think that the Blood-Skal where banished to Solstheim or sought refuge from the Law or angry peasants.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments so I can expand this theory. Credit will be give to those that contribute
