I absolutely love these movies, they're right up my alley for exactly what I want in horror (lifelong horror buff, love my cheesy 80s slasher type horror flicks with tons of gore)

So it's not the excessiveness of the gore and blood that bother me, it's how cheesy it looks. And again, I love cheese. But for the slasher flicks of olde, their just that, old. I will always prefer practical effects over CGI so I give them props for going practical, but for how violent these Terrifier flicks are, I just wish the blood and gore was more realistic looking and not straight out of 1983 slasher flick. I understand the homage, but I just want more.

Idk, maybe I just need to look past and stop complaining but I just needed to rant. Still love these movies and patiently waiting for Terrifier 3
