Selling your terrariums…

Post Body

I’m new to the group so I apologize if this has already been a big discussion in the past. I’m not necessarily trying to monetize all my hobbies but some friends and family have asked about me selling my terrarium builds. I usually include isopods and springtails so I’m just curious what one would charge for them and how they would inform the maintenance. I’m sure size is a factor and the degree of plant life, Etc. I’ve been told I should give them for Xmas presents but I was reluctant because I don’t think the general interest realizes the maintenance and responsibility because it’s basically like having a pet. I would like to make more and I don’t really have the space to keep them all so I may honor the idea. I’m a painter who has a hard time selling work for personal reasons; so I guess this is similar. Anyway, thoughts, advice?
