So far I haven't had a bad time with the game! I've only done 5 stories for the characters as of this post, but I find the real time battle system very intriguing for a card game. Its kind of refreshing versus typical card games where you mostly sit still and wait for your opponent to finish their turn, not including interactions like instants or trap cards and the like. I also enjoy the abilities that the heroes have, gives them a bit of flavor about what they are in their own games (X wanting to protect, so he heals; Rathalos being a monster that just gives attack, etc).
One thing I admit is bad is that the tutorial could be done better. I was mostly wondering what all my cards did and the game never really went into detail about how to find out what their effects were, so I was a little clueless about that until I saw the info bubble about it during gameplay as I tapped my cards. I just happen to have some card game experience where I could mostly connect the dots on color identity, so I wasn't as hard pressed as I probably would have been.
All in all I've been enjoying myself and am hoping to come up with a deck for my boy Mega Man! I've also been gushing about how deep they're pulling into various franchise's lore to get card designs. I was floored to see just random robots from stages from as far as Mega Man X2, let alone named Mavericks! I can't wait to see what else I find in this game, and I hope others have been enjoying it so far.
