Me and my boyfriend moved into this apartment in January of 2022. It's a two bedroom/bathroom 3rd floor 1200 sq feet for $1400 a month. That's not including utilities. We received our first light bill for move in. It was $330 and gexa said we used over 1200 kwh. That impossible for two people who barely use the lights . The second bedroom is always hotter than rest of the house. It makes it useable without two fans. I use the second bedroom as my home office.
The a/c is constantly running causing our light bill to higher than normal. We have put in multiple work order to fix the issue but they gave use slap stick fixed for months. Last week, they put in a new a/c unit but it still constantly running to cool down the house. I filed a petition last Friday to the landlord. We are planning to leave at the end of September.
