Have a quick question was hoping someone could help me with:
I have an iPhone 12 Pro with about 2 months left on the contract. The amount I'd have to pay would be $480 if I don't return the device. I'm currently paying $98 after taxes for the phone.
I recently saw there's a promotion on the EPP plan for 45 GB CAN-US with international texts for $75. I don't want to miss on the offer as I will be travelling back and forth to the States a bunch for the next few years but I wanted to BYOD and buy a new iPhone outright next month.
If I upgraded to the plan, paid out the $480, would the plan be my only contractual obligation going forward and my monthly payments go down? The agent on the phone was a bit confusing with their answer so I'm unsure if I upgraded the plan if there'd be an issue
