I bought my son an Xbox 360, and am having massive problems getting it to connect to the internet.
It can access the network, and get an IP address, but will not access the internet no matter what I do. It doesn't even show up as a device on my network, but when I log into my router settings its there - but recognized as Telus OptikTV. It does not allow me to change any specific settings relating to it, and it overrides any port-forwarding I do, or even DMZ. It simply will NOT view it as anything other than a Telus Optik TV and will not allow ANY protocols that the TV would not.
Is there ANY way I can fix this, or am I SOL?
