I signed up for Internet purefibre gigabit for $65/month. Telus rep called me with the offer but I didn’t want to give details over the phone so they routed me to order online and they would change everything on backend. Kept offering me streaming services and tv bundle but I declined multiple times. Next day tech showed up to install and left the TV box even though I said I don’t have TV, he never mentioned extra charges. Now I’m being charged $15/month and they said I have to pay $330 to cancel. They created the TV service agreement 3 days after my internet service agreement and it was never emailed to me, only uploaded in the app. They are refusing to waive the cancellation fee and can only offer $5/month discount for the first 6 months. Do I have any recourse? I feel like I was heavily deceived. I didn’t agree to TV services and refused the box with the tech but he insisted since he says he usually leaves them with the customer. Extremely upset with the way this is being handled since I was a previous Telus mobility customer and I returned just 2 months ago for the internet deal. I would appreciate any advice or help, thanks in advance.
